About Kafuu
來自高雄，就讀於國立東華大學音樂學系爵士組，師事吳昱辰、詹宗霖、Matthew Fullen 與許聰義。因熱愛 ACG 音樂而自學鋼琴，高中時期開始接觸 Jazz、Funk、R&B、Soul、Gospel、Fusion 及 Classical 等風格，逐漸確立個人音樂語彙。
曾與黃瑞豐、溫隆信、楊曉恩、魏廣晧、謝明諺、蔡雯慧、Antonio Hart、謝宇威、蘇婭、昊恩等知名音樂人同台演出，亦與 Vtuber 考娜 Koana、Nina & John 那就醬樂團、ŽŽ 瑋琪等藝人合作。參與演出經歷涵蓋臺北、臺中爵士音樂節、吹海風音樂節、嘉義咖啡節、東區爵士音樂節、爵對有春、花蓮太平洋觀光節跨年演唱會等大型活動，亦活躍於各類型展演空間。
曾擔任《Hó Thiann Performing Arts 好廳文．藝．展．演》、《駁二・BANANA 音樂館》、《爵式 WiJazz Records》、《享象 Rhythmscape》、《Bad Mama Taipei 黑媽台北》等場館 Jam Session Host，並於岩石音樂、鈕饅頭策劃【Jam Every Week】系列活動，致力推廣高雄爵士音樂文化。
Born in Kaohsiung, Kafuu Chu is currently studying Jazz Performance at the Department of Music, National Dong Hwa University, under the guidance of Yu-Chen Wu, Tsung-Lin Chan, Matthew Fullen, and Guras Hsu.. Originally self-taught due to a passion for ACG (anime, comics, and games) music, Kafuu gradually developed a personal musical voice influenced by jazz, funk, R&B, soul, gospel, fusion, and classical styles since high school.
Kafuu has performed alongside renowned musicians including Rich Huang, David L. Wen, Shawna Yang, Stacey Wei, Minyen Hsieh, Wen-Hui Tsai, Antonio Hart, and Su-Yang and Wu Hao-En. Collaborative works also include projects with Vtuber Koana, Nina & John (那就醬樂團), and artist ŽŽ (瑋琪). Performance history includes major festivals and events such as the Taipei Jazz Festival, Taichung Jazz Festival,Breeze Music Festival, Chiayi Coffee Festival, Eastern Jazz Music Festival, Let’s Swing! Let's Spring!, and the Hualien New Year’s Countdown Party. Chu is also active in various performance venues across Taiwan.
Kafuu has served as a Jam Session host at spaces including Hó Thiann Performing Arts, BANANA Music Hall (Pier-2), WiJazz Records, Rhythmscape, and Bad Mama Taipei. Chu also co-organized the "Jam Every Week" series with Rocks and New Metal Music Studio, helping promote jazz culture in Kaohsiung.
